Summer Garden Tour

It's almost time to say goodbye to summer. 

Before this season is gone, I wanted to share some of my favorite images from my garden. 

We received a record breaking amount of rain this summer and the plants loved it.  

The flowers bloomed beautifully this year throughout the spring and summer.

 

The lavender is always one of my favorites.  

The bees love it too!

   

We always have plenty of lizards . . .

. . . as well as some interesting insects.

 

This year we even had a few baby turtles.  

They're so tiny and cute!

This is our biggest backyard turtle and my favorite because he has such a personality!  He's either exceptionally well trained or very spoiled.  I think it might be a combination of both!  He has come to expect something good to eat whenever he sees me.  He even waits outside by the door hoping for something tasty.  He especially likes tomatoes, cantaloupe, and strawberries.
