Washi Tape Desk Set
I love washi tape because it can make anything pretty! For this project, I made a fun washi tape desk set that's easily personalized and instantly coordinated. If you've never used washi tape before, it feels a lot like masking tape, but it's printed with fun colors and designs. It's also really easy to work with because it's re-positional. You can stick it on and peel it off as many times as you need to. I started by adding washi tape to a notebook based on this idea and soon found myself putting washi tape on all kinds of things!
A little bud vase makes a pretty desk accessory and a container for holding paper clips and other small items is a necessity on any desk. Just add a strip of washi tape to make it pretty!
I used a plastic photo frame from the dollar store to make a Post-It note holder. Just cut a piece of paper to fit in the frame. Add washi tape to the edges of the paper and slide it into the plastic holder. Peel the backing off a Post-It note pad and stick it to the front of the frame. You can get creative and personalize it with whatever quotes, initials, or pictures you want!
The tray holds the desk supplies nicely, but would also be a great item for holding papers and notes.
The nice thing about washi tape is that it makes everything instantly coordinated. This fun washi tape desk set would be perfect for a mother's day gift, a teacher's gift, or to make for yourself!
