Simple Valentine Card
Valentine's day is right around the corner and thank goodness! January and February can be pretty bleak so I really like having Valentine's Day to look forward to. I suppose I'm too choosy sometimes, but I almost always have a hard time finding just the right card at the store and I often end up making my own. My tastes tend to run pretty simple and this sweet Valentine card is no exception. The idea for this card came from this pin for a baby announcement and I thought this simple idea would work just as well for a little Valentine card. Here's what I did:
Materials I used:
card stock or blank card
scrapbook paper
heart paper punch
glue
I punched out some hearts with a paper punch
and glued them on the front of the card . . .
. . . and I used one of my favorite fonts in PicMonkey
for the "Happy Valentine's Day" text.
for the "Happy Valentine's Day" text.
See! I promised it was simple!
And . . .
. . .here's another simple Valentine's day heart project!
Inspired by this pin.
The holidays are coming around so quickly!! These cards are perfect. xo Catherine

How lovely, making something yourself makes it so much more special and the heart picture would be a great present for a new baby too.
