Nutella Hot Chocolate
I love Nutella (who doesn't?) but I have to treat it as a controlled substance at my house. Seriously. I have absolutely no restraint what so ever and can go through a whole jar of it in just a few days. I really don't need all that sugar, saturated fat, and extra calories so I usually don't buy it. I don't need that kind of temptation. I made a special exception when I saw this pin on Pinterest for Nutella hot chocolate and had to check it out. Luckily for me, Pin Junkie Jr. likes Nutella as much as I do and he ate most of it. His eighteen year old metabolism can handle that stuff much better than I can! The recipe is easy: just stir in two teaspoons of Nutella in a cup of warm milk. It makes a delicious cup of hot chocolate. (Of course it does, it's Nutella!) Trying not to eat the remainder of the Nutella left in the jar however, is not so easy!

L.O.V.E this idea!! Thanks for linking it up to Show Me Saturday.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so delicious! My German roommates in college would thinly spread Nutella on toast for breakfast and then that jar would sit in the cupboard until the next morning, untouched. I was always amazed at their self-control!
ReplyDeleteI've never thought to use Nutella in this way. Brilliant! Thank you for this (dangerous) idea :).
ReplyDeleteI love this! I've pinned it. I love anything Nutella. Thanks for stopping by the Retro Repin Party, We hope to see you next week too. Happy Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteConfession time: I am not a big Nutella fan. I know, I know it is completely shocking! But my son loves it, and he's been on a cocoa kick lately. So I now have the perfect incentive for him to behave in school so he can have this as a treat.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing on Tasty Tuesdays, Hope you will join us again next week.
You're lucky! I love the stuff and have no self control so I don't even let myself buy it and bring it home. My son loves it too, but since I almost never buy it, he doesn't get to have it as often as he'd like.
