Starbuck's Passion Tea Lemonade
I've seen a lot of pins for this Starbuck's passion tea lemonade on Pinterest. It must be really popular because I had to go to three different stores to find the Tazo passion tea. The first two stores were completely sold out!
I also had to got to Starbucks to actually taste a passion tea lemonade because, believe it or not, I've never had one. This recipe tastes exactly like the Starbuck's passion tea lemonade. My family thought it was too tart, but I liked it.
The box of twenty tea bags was five dollars which I thought was a bit much, but that's because I'm cheap. The recipe said to use two tea bags for one cup of water, then mix the tea with the lemonade. I followed the directions the first time I made the tea. Later, I made a second batch, and decided to try it with only one tea bag. It worked just fine, I just had to add more tea to the lemonade. I also made my own lemonade because it's cheaper than buying the store bought stuff.

ReplyDeletesound delicious! Shit ton of sugar though haha
ReplyDeleteIt's probably the same amount of sugar as the Starbuck's version. The original recipe used sugar free lemonade, so that's an option if you don't want so much sugar.
DeleteThis will be great to try this summer. It looks so refreshing. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to trying this. I like the tea by itself and started buying it last year in quart size bags you can make.

ReplyDeleteYou don't even know how happy you've made me! I was literally just telling my starbucks girl how I wish they would make the passion tea for the keurig. She laughed and said Ha, well then no one would come in here twice a day, morning for their coffee and mid-afternoon for their passion tea! So pinning this!
ReplyDeleteI've never tried this, but it looks pretty and sounds refreshing!
ReplyDeleteI've never had one either, but it sure looks delicious! Thanks for sharing with SYC.

ReplyDeleteStumbled upon this now a year later and just made a huge batch :D. Their passion tea is my current pregnancy craving and I simply can't afford to buy one everyday so this is awesome thank you! I subbed agave syrup for sugar and reduced it a bit to make it more tart and I love it even more now!!!
ReplyDeleteNice! i love it!
