St. Patrick's Day Wreath
Happy St. Patrick's Day! Are you doing anything fun to celebrate? I don't usually celebrate St. Patrick's Day. I might wear something green to avoid being pinched, but that's about it. This year I made a St. Patrick's Day wreath. Pinterest has so many wreath ideas, you could seriously make one for every single holiday of the year! Right after Christmas, I found a boxwood wreath on sale at Target. I bought it
thinking it would be perfect for spring. Then I
started thinking that this pretty green wreath might work just as well for St. Patrick's Day.
I got some sparkly green and gold ribbon on sale at Hobby Lobby as well as some matching glittery green shamrocks and gold coins.
I wrapped the gold ribbon loosely around the wreath and glued the ends of the ribbon in place on the back. Then I just used my glue gun to stick the shamrocks and coins onto the wreath. That's it!
The green and gold is perfect for St. Patrick's day and really dresses up the plain boxwood wreath. I love the way it looks on my front door, too.
It only takes about thirty minutes to make this St. Patrick's Day wreath and you don't have to be
particularly crafty for this project. If you're handy with a glue gun,
you can do this!
Great job it looks awesome!
