Magnetic Memo Boards
These pretty magnetic memo boards are handy to have on the fridge or near the phone for messages and they'd make a nice gift especially for a teacher. Making one is as easy as sliding some paper into a frame and sticking on a pad of Post-its.
I'm a compulsive list maker and I'm totally addicted to Post-it notes. I have a bad habit of writing lists and notes to myself on whatever scrap of paper is nearby and I end up with lots of paper everywhere and a lot of clutter. Mr. Pin Junkie insists I have hypergraphia, the compulsive need to write. I disagree because unfortunately, I'm missing the creative literary component of hypergraphia. I honestly think my need to write everything down comes from simply having too much stuff to remember. So maybe these magnetic memo boards will help.
I already had a box of clear magnetic frames.
Instead of putting pictures in them, I added some pretty patterned paper.
For these magnetic memo boards, I glued on some
decorative scrapbook paper before sliding the paper into the frame.

For these memo boards, I just glued on a flower.
I love the bright happy colors of these magnetic memo boards, and hopefully they'll keep me and my many notes a bit more organized!
These are cute. My dad uses post-its ALL the time, for everything. Maybe their house needs a few of these boards :)

Your hubby is funny. Ever since I had kids I tend to forget a lot of things too and I used to use a planner to help me remember things. Great idea to keep your post-it-notes handy.
ReplyDeleteAt least half of what I have to remember is kid related. I use a personal planner and a big wall calender and I still have notes all over the place!
DeleteWe did something similar not too long ago for gifts, we took old cookie sheets and wrapped them in fabric and decorated some flat magnets with pretty buttons. They were cute!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a great idea!
DeleteI love these, so cute and a great gift idea.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tanya!

ReplyDeleteThanks for joining the Link Up this week!
These are great! I am one that must write my grocery list/to-dos on paper or I will forget something. My husband and mother are trying to convert me to using my phone to make e-lists, but I just can't catch on, I always forget what I typed!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean Renee! I don't have a smart phone, but I've been told that it would make my life a lot easier and cut down on the paper clutter. One of these days I'll have to make the switch!
DeleteThese are great, what a good idea.
