Write A Secret Message On A Banana
Here's a fun way to send a message to someone special. Write it on a banana! It's simple and only takes a few minutes, but would be a thoughtful surprise for the recipient. To inscribe your message, use a dull pencil rather than a really sharp one. Press down just enough to make a mark on the banana peel, but not enough to puncture through it. It's kind of like a secret message because it won't show up right away. As the banana ripens, the message will get darker. Wouldn't this be perfect for a kid's lunch to take to school?
Inspired by this pin for writing a secret message on a banana.

DeleteWhat a great way to tell your kids that they are being thought of all day while they are in school! ♥
ReplyDeleteAha, this is so cute and will make a good surprise! :)
ReplyDeleteAwhh, this reminds me of one Halloween years ago when my kids came back from trick or treating and a neighbour had given them "spooky bananas" with spooky messages on them. (She confessed afterwards she had run out of sweets!) It's a silly family tradition now, we have them every year!
ReplyDeleteGreat tradition and I love how it started by accident! So much better for kids than candy too!
DeleteThis really made me smile. Thanks for sharing.
