Hummus
I used this recipe for hummus. The directions said to use a food processor, but I used my blender and it worked just fine. The hummus was good, but very strong. It had a quite a garlicky kick to it. Next time, I'll make it with less lemon juice, salt, and garlic. The rest of my family loved it and said it was much better than the "lifeless stuff at Trader Joe's" so it's really a matter of taste how you season it.
I added some sun dried tomatoes, but really couldn't taste it over the strong garlic and lemon flavor. You can also add paprika or olive oil. Serve with pita bread or vegetables and you've got a healthy snack.
Jaja! Right now I'm making hummus! I place the garlic in the cooking water with a bay leaf. Mmmmm! RiquÃsimo!
