Book Review: Wanderlust A Love Affair with Five Continents
I used to read so much more before Pinterest took over my life! I have a long list of books I want to read so I figured I'd better get busy and I had time while I was on spring break.
Wanderlust A Love Affair with Five Continents is an interesting memoir about a woman’s travels around the world. Although this book received really mixed reviews on Amazon, I enjoyed this book. What I found interesting is how the author describes how she got addicted,
in a way, to traveling. Constant travel was a lifestyle she got
used to. When she tried to stay in one
place, it was very difficult for her to live with one person in the same place
and have a daily routine. She describes
the trade offs of a traveling lifestyle and how many of her friends have homes, families and roots and sometimes she wishes she had those experiences.
I have the home, family, and roots and I dream of traveling. Isn't the grass always greener? I'd love to explore every corner of the world if I could. Hopefully I'll get to one day, but for now, I can read about the excitement of going to new places, meeting new people, and having new experiences in other, far away places.

I'm curious, if you could go anywhere, where would it be?
