Paper Reindeer Treat Holder
Since the reindeer bottles were such a hit, I decided to make these reindeer. The orginal idea had magic reindeer food in it, but I decided to use it as a treat holder.
I tried regular glue and tape to secure the paper, but the tape didn't look nice and the glue wouldn't hold the paper while I was trying to fold it. So I used hot glue.
Here's what you'll need:
scissors
glue
brown pipe cleaners
red pom poms
google eyes
brown paper
Cut a 9" by 4 1/2" strip of paper and roll it to make a cylinder. Glue the edges together.
Pinch and fold just the edges of one side of the cylinder. Secure with glue.
Fill with candy or other small goodies.
Pinch and fold the top making sure it is secured in the opposite direction as the bottom. Add pipe cleaners and secure with glue. Add the nose and eyes.
I punched a hole at the top and added a ribbon so it could hang on the tree. These would be really fun party favors, don't you think?
Oh they are so cute!
